Product Details
Developed according to the standard Arduino shield format, the UserBot ensures quick and easy installation. Full compatibility with Arduino allows seamless integration of custom code and electronics into the GroLab™ system.
The UserBot's base code is open source and available on Open Grow's official GitHub repository. It includes practical examples, but its true potential depends on the user's creativity.
UserBot is compatible with virtually any component or sensor designed for Arduino — from communication modules to environmental sensors and actuators, everything can be integrated with ease.
As users are free to use any device compatible with the GroLab™ system, they will be responsible for much of the characteristics their custom module will have.
When integrated with GroLab™, UserBot enables the creation of advanced procedures to prevent risks and minimize damage in emergency situations such as fire, intrusion, or flooding. Includes customizable options to suspend part or all of the system until the user intervenes, cooldown times to protect sensitive equipment, and automatic actions in case of lost communication with GroNode.
UserBot communicates with the GroLab™ system's central module (GroNode) via radio frequency, with a range of up to 25 metres indoors (depending on obstacles) and up to 100 metres in open spaces, providing greater flexibility for placement and installation.
GroLab™ Software offers real-time monitoring and analysis of data from sensors and devices connected to UserBot. Provides instant notifications, detailed graphs, a complete overview of your grow, and data export from the beginning of the plant life cycle.
When the system's central module is connected to the Internet, it is possible to configure real-time email notifications regarding the status of sensors and devices connected to UserBot, including immediate alerts in case of anomalies.
The Open Grow team works daily to fix reported bugs, improve existing features, and add new functionalities to the GroLab™ system. These updates are free and, in the case of UserBot, can be quickly obtained from the official Open Grow GitHub repository and merged with the user's code.
When the system's central module is connected to a router with Internet access, remote control of the GroLab™ system is activated, allowing the user full access to all modules at any time and from anywhere via GroLab™ Software.
